My first foray into some Gibson features. The S.J.J. includes a recessed Tune O Matic bridge, front Switchcraft input jack, 3+3 style headstock, and a body shape cut from a template I made from my 2003 Gibson Melody Maker. 
The string-through design, bolt-on neck, and knobs are all Fender features that would be stupid to change. So here is our hybrid, and here are some of its features:
Alder body with Sailor Jerry style tattoos, hard maple neck 25 1/2" scale, with 12" radiused Royal Mexican Ebony fretboard, bone fret markers, and stainless steel frets. The tuning machines are Wilkinson Deluxe.
A humbucker-sized P90 pickup is from Planet Tone.
