The Hydra
A summer project I built with—and for—my 9-year-old son. He loves Greek mythology and so chose the Hydra as his theme. He didn't want relic'ing, (DNA test is in the mail). He picked the colors for the "Seaburst." We used Planet Tone "Mean Mistreater" mini-humbuckers. My son did all the wiring and soldering. I added a "Tumbleweed & Son" label to the headstock.
